"Being the custodian of the first ever commissioned portrait paintings of Nelson Mandela by The House of Mandela is an overwhelming honour. There is an immediate gravity to creating a portrait of a man, a father, a leader, and an icon such as Nelson Mandela. The duty here is to honour his memory and legacy with integrity. And so with this in mind, armed with paint, paintbrushes and some canvasses I hope to celebrate the memory and legacy of Nelson Rholihlahla Mandela who did so much for so many."
